These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the SignTheDoc website and electronic-signature services. By creating an account or signing a document through our service, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using SignTheDoc, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with SignTheDoc, Inc. and that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
3. Electronic signatures
SignTheDoc facilitates legally binding electronic signatures under the U.S. ESIGN Act, UETA, and the EU eIDAS regulation. You are solely responsible for the content, legality, and enforceability of the documents you send, sign, or store using the service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, to send documents you are not authorized to send, to upload malicious code, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user’s account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time and your plan will remain active through the end of the current billing period.
6. Intellectual property
The service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by SignTheDoc, Inc. and protected by law. You retain all rights to the documents and content you upload; you grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the service.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SignTheDoc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes & contact
