Custom brandingPro and up

Look like you, not like us

Branding does not measurably speed up someone who has already decided to sign. What it does is make the message look legitimate — which is a different and arguably more important problem.

We measured this honestly: custom branding had no detectable effect on how quickly a motivated signer completes a document. We are not going to claim otherwise.

Where it does matter is trust. A recipient who receives an unexpected signing link from an unfamiliar sender frequently calls to check it is genuine, and that costs a day. Branding — particularly a custom domain — visibly reduces that.

How it works

Step by step

  1. 1

Upload your logo and set an accent colour

Applied across the signing experience, the email notifications, and the completion confirmation. Recipients see your identity at every step rather than ours.

  2. 2

    Write your own email copy

Replace the default notification wording. A subject line naming the document and stating a deadline outperforms "Document for signature" substantially, because recipients triage on subject lines.

  3. 3

    Send from a named person

Documents sent from a recognisable individual complete faster than those from a generic address — partly deliverability, since role addresses attract more aggressive filtering, and partly that people prioritise messages from people.

  4. 4

    Add a custom domain

On Business plans the signing link itself carries your domain. This is the piece that most reduces "is this real?" phone calls, because the URL a recipient hovers over is one they recognise.

Custom branding, specifically

The completion certificate identifies the platform, because an audit trail from an unnamed system is worth considerably less. Everything else can carry your identity.
